Dean, a patient from Kent, England, arrived at Diamond Dental Antalya with several dental concerns. He had been dealing with bruxism, which caused significant wear on his teeth, and he was also missing several teeth, leading to difficulties in eating. Thorough Diagnosis: X-Ray and 3D Imaging
To fully understand Dean’s dental issues, we conducted a detailed examination using X-rays and 3D tomography. The results revealed that his missing teeth had caused the opposing teeth to shift over time, exacerbating his dental problems. We also identified cavities and significant wear on his remaining teeth. Dean expressed a desire for not only functional improvements but also a brighter, more aesthetically pleasing smile.
Personalized Treatment Planning: Meeting Dean’s Expectations and Budget
Understanding Dean’s concerns, we tailored a treatment plan that would address both his functional needs and aesthetic goals. Dean was also keen on combining his dental treatment with a holiday in Antalya. We presented him with various treatment packages that matched his budget, and together, we decided on the most suitable option for him.
The Treatment: Implants and Zirconium Crowns
Dean’s treatment began with the placement of 2 dental implants to replace his missing teeth. These implants provided a strong foundation for the restoration of his bite and improved his ability to eat comfortably. Following this, we placed 26 zirconium crowns on his existing teeth, not only restoring their structure but also enhancing their appearance. The crowns were selected for their durability and natural, aesthetic finish, giving Dean the bright smile he desired.
