When Ryan first came to see us, it was clear that his fear of dental procedures had caused him to put off treatment for many years. He expressed deep concern about the pain and discomfort he expected to experience.

On examination, we found that most of his teeth were infected and cystic. The situation required immediate attention. We decided on a comprehensive treatment plan that included tooth extraction, immediate implant placement and same-day temporary dentures. The All-on-4 implant system was used, with four implants in the upper jaw and four implants in the lower jaw. After the initial procedure, we had to wait 9 weeks for the implants to heal before we could finalise his new teeth.
